Yeah.

Summer is here and man it has been cookin’ hot and humid. Your car  most definitely can be affected by the heat.

By way of example here’s a news article detailing some of the problems in Virginia:

Heat taking toll on cars

“Across our region, calls for service are already soaring and we have several more days of even hotter weather predicted, with temps expected to hit the mid-to-upper 90’s,” said Martha Mitchell Meade, Manager of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic.

Of course here in Pinellas County we are rather used to the upper 90 degree temps but the fact remains that keeping the cooling system of our car or truck functioning properly is incredibly important.

If your coolant system breaks down your car breaks down and the repair costs on that event if it happens can be real high. So be proactive and check your coolant, check your oil and transmission fluids. If you have problems and something doesn’t feel right, don’t hesitate to bring it in.

We are a full service auto repair shop and you, as our customer in the Tampa Bay area, are important to us.
