You often hear the phrase, “Get a second opinion,” in reference to the doctor but it hold’s true for work on your vehicle too.

If you are at a repair shop and get an estimate over $500.00 get a second opinion.

Unless of course, you’ve built a good relationship with the garage your at and you trust them.

When I have a new customer who doesn’t know me and I give them a big estimate for major work on their vehicle or that requires some expensive part and I see by their expression that they were a bit shocked, I encourage them to seek a second opinion.

My point is, it’s perfectly ok to run an estimate buy me and I will let you know if they are in the ball park!

Prices are never the same from shop to shop.
